Use On-Page SEO: Using your keywords when editing your content.
What is a Keyword and how do you use it in On-Page SEO? A keyword is generally a word or phrase that relates to the topic of your website, page or post. When some one searches for more information on a topic or product in a search engine they use keywords as a way to identify and verbalize what they’re looking for. Using On-Page SEO, website owners create content around relevant topics to their business or interests which helps them rank well and be found.
When editing a page or post for On-Page SEO follow these rules:
- Your keyword must appear in the title.
- It must appear in the URL.
- Use your Keyword in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page.
- To optimize your keyword, make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing).
- Spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article using Keywords where it makes sense.
- Use your Keyword in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page.
- Also have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword.
- There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword.
